‘Action’ identifies the range of activities which include physical activity and team participation. These can include not only participation in individual and team sports but also taking part in expeditions and in local or international projects.

Sporting extra-curricular activities include...

  • Netball: children have the chance to learn a new sport, understand the rules, different positions as well as how to pass, defend, attack and shoot. Children then have the opportunity to take part in matches and tournaments with different schools.
  • Football: With both U9 and U11 teams, children practice and prepare for matches in the ADISSA school league.
  • Swimming: Children are able to develop their technique and speed within the water to compete at the ADISSA swim galas.
  • Cricket: Children have the opportunity to learn a new sport and develop their skills.
  • Ballet: Dance teachers visit Al Muna to teach children from Foundation Stage to Year 2 skills and dance moves. Children also have the opportunity to perform for the school.
